Suriya and Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Retro’ is set to hit the big screens on May 1. The audio launch event was held in Chennai.
During the event, the makers launched the much-awaited theatrical trailer. It doesn’t reveal anything about the story, but gives us a hint that the romantic action entertainer will be wacky with eccentric and amusing characters.
Karthik Subbaraj moved away from the regular trailer template, and this strategy is sure to draw mixed reactions.
The technical values are pretty good, though. Suriya looks neat, and so does Pooja Hegde.
Joju George, Jayaram, and Karunakaran played vital roles. Jyotika and Suriya produced ‘Retro’ under the banner of 2D Entertainment. Santosh Narayan is the music composer.
