Actor Sivakarthikeyan has candidly expressed his aversion to sequels, citing a fear that they might not live up to the success of the original films.
During a recent Q&A session with fans, the actor admitted, “I am very scared about sequels. I will only take it up if there is a good script. I don’t want to spoil the success of the first part.” However, he made a notable exception for his hit film ‘Maaveeran’.
He expressed a desire to work on a sequel to the film, explaining that “Maaveeran was a different film with a unique script,” which makes the prospect of a second installment appealing.
This statement has sparked excitement among fans, who are now hoping to see him reunite with director Madonne Ashwin for “Maaveeran 2.” Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is currently busy with his other projects, ‘Madharasi’ and ‘Parasakthi’, with ‘Madharasi’ scheduled for a theatrical release on September 5.
