Sivakarthikeyan adopts elephant at Vandalur Zoo

Actor Sivakarthikeyan has once again shown his philanthropic side by adopting a young elephant named Prakruthi at the Arignar Anna Zoological Park (Vandalur Zoo).
The actor has officially committed to covering the elephant’s maintenance and dietary expenses for a period of six months under the zoo’s adoption scheme.
Sivakarthikeyan is a frequent supporter of the zoo, having previously adopted a white tiger named Anu and a lion named Sheru in recent years.
Zoo officials noted that the actor’s consistent contributions play a vital role in raising public awareness about wildlife conservation and animal welfare.
During the announcement, the actor encouraged his fans and the general public to come forward and adopt any of the 170+ species housed at the facility.
This gesture comes at a time when the actor is busy with several high-profile film projects, yet continues to prioritize his social responsibilities.
The zoo management expressed their gratitude, stating that such celebrity involvement is a “boon” for the upkeep of the animals.
