The shooting for Sasikumar and Lijomol Jose’s upcoming film ‘Freedom’ has officially been wrapped up.
Director SathyaSiva, who is helming the film, announced on his X (formerly Twitter) timeline that the shooting of ‘Freedom’ has been successfully completed.
The production house, Vijaya Ganapathy’s Pictures, also confirmed the wrap with a picture from the sets.
Along with the wrap-up announcement, it was re-confirmed that the film is set to hit screens on July 10, 2025.
‘Freedom’ is an action-drama based on a true incident. It reportedly revolves around the plight of Sri Lankan Tamils who come to India as refugees, focusing on their struggles and the challenges they face, including police excesses and wrongful imprisonment.
‘Freedom’ is planned for a pan-Indian release, hitting theatres in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Other prominent actors include Malavika Avinash, Boss Venkat, Ramesh Khanna, Sudev Nair, and Boys Manikandan.
