The rural gangster drama ‘Kombu Seevi’, starring Shanmuga Pandian and Sarathkumar, is nearing completion, with the film’s shoot and dubbing phases now wrapped up.
Directed by Ponram, the movie is based on true events that occurred in the Usilampatti and Andipatti regions in 1996.
While the makers had earlier released teasers and glimpse videos, now an official theatrical release date has been announced. The movie is all set to be released during the Christmas holidays.
The film, featuring music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is said to be a gritty, intense narrative that sheds light on significant events from two decades ago, promising a raw and emotional viewing experience.
The film is particularly anticipated as it features Sarathkumar in a pivotal role alongside Shanmuga Pandian, adding another layer of interest for the audience.
