Suriya’s upcoming film ‘Scene’ is generating considerable interest ahead of its scheduled theatrical release on November 6. The makers have now announced a promotional event in Dubai, adding to the excitement surrounding the film’s Deepavali debut.
The pre-release gathering will take place on October 25 at Silicon Central Mall in Dubai, approximately a week before the film arrives in cinemas. While the organisers have not officially confirmed the programme, fans are anticipating the possible launch of the trailer and audio at the event.
Directed by Jithu Madhavan, ‘Scene’ features Suriya as a police officer, with Nazriya and Naslen appearing in important roles. Anandraj, Lal and Raj Priyan are also part of the ensemble.
One of the key reasons behind the buzz is the director’s previous work. Madhavan earned attention for his distinctive storytelling in ‘Romancham’ and ‘Aavesham’, both of which presented their characters in unusual and memorable ways. His collaboration with Suriya has therefore raised expectations about how the actor’s police officer character will be developed.
The film also marks Madhavan’s entry into Tamil cinema as a director, alongside music composer Sushin Shyam’s Tamil debut. Their reunion has become another talking point among audiences familiar with their earlier Malayalam projects.
The makers have released two songs from the film, ‘Aathi Iva Yarraa’ and ‘Aeroplane’. Both tracks have helped build anticipation as the promotional campaign gathers pace.
Produced by Suriya and Jyotika through Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment, the film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Vineeth Augustian, editor Ajmal Sabu, production designer Ashwini Kale, art director A Rajesh and stunt choreographer Chethan D’Souza.
‘Scene’ will face competition at the box office, as it is scheduled to release alongside Nayanthara’s ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ and ‘Ramayana: Part 1’, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. With the Dubai event approaching, audiences are waiting to see whether the makers will reveal more about the film through a trailer launch or additional promotional announcements.
