The highly anticipated prequel to the 2022 blockbuster ‘Kantara,’ titled ‘Kantara Chapter 1,’ has wrapped up its censor formalities.
The film, written, directed, and starring Rishab Shetty, has been granted a U/A 16+ certificate by the CBFC, and a runtime of 168 minutes (2 hours and 48 minutes).
‘Kantara Chapter 1’ delves deeper into the folklore and mythology of the first part, exploring the mystical roots of the story.
The trailer, launched by prominent actors from different industries, has received widespread praise for its stunning visuals and goosebump-inducing background score by Ajaneesh Loknath, raising expectations for a grand theatrical release on October 2nd.
