Ripupbury

– Review

A ghost from a village in Coimbatore kills the men who do inter-caste marriage. An inspector sends Mahendran and his friend to find out the truth about the ghost.
Was the duo successful in their mission. Who is the ghost and why is it killing the men forms the rest of the story.
Directed by N Arun Karthi, the movie follows the eerie stories however with a different flashback for the ghost.
However, the writing and the screenplay could have been better. There are some interesting scenes, while scenes are forgettable.
Mahendran delivers a good performance and is impressive in his character. The scenes in which he appears are fairly engaging.
Arati and Kavya as the female leads have done their part well.
Rest of the cast including Noble K James have delivered what was expected from them.
Music by Diwacara Thiyagarajan is good. Rest of the technical aspects are passable.

Rating: 3.5/5
