Ravi Mohan has announced that musician Keneeshaa Francis will compose the music for his upcoming directorial debut, ‘An Ordinary Man’. The announcement comes months after reports surrounding their relationship and Keneeshaa’s departure from social media.
Ravi Mohan Studios announced Keneeshaa’s association with the film on Instagram on Monday. The production house introduced her as the musical voice behind the project, signalling her entry into the film’s technical team.
The announcement follows Ravi Mohan’s recent decision to continue working in cinema after previously saying that he would take a break until his divorce proceedings were settled.
At the JFW Achievers Awards in July, the actor spoke about his relationship with cinema and said he had reconsidered his decision after receiving encouragement from people in the film industry and his fans.
Ravi Mohan married Aarti, daughter of producer Sujatha Vijayakumar, in 2009. The couple announced their separation in 2024 after 15 years of marriage. Around the same period, Keneeshaa’s name was linked with Ravi, although they initially described themselves as friends.
Their association later became public, but Keneeshaa subsequently stepped away from social media and appeared to hint at a separation from Ravi. Ravi then announced his decision to take a temporary break from films.
With Keneeshaa now joining ‘An Ordinary Man’ as composer, the project marks another significant development in Ravi Mohan’s transition into filmmaking.
