Rajinikanth to receive Lifetime Honour at IFFI 2025

Superstar Rajinikanth will be honoured at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa for completing 50 glorious years in cinema — a rare feat in the entertainment world.
Scheduled from November 20 to 28, 2025, the event will feature a special retrospective and a tribute segment highlighting Rajinikanth’s extraordinary journey from bus conductor to cinematic legend.
The actor, who made his debut with Apoorva Raagangal in 1975, went on to redefine Indian cinema with iconic roles in ‘Baashha’, ‘Sivaji’, ‘Enthiran’, and ‘Jailer’.
The recognition at IFFI reflects his enduring influence across generations and languages, symbolizing five decades of unmatched charisma, humility, and versatility on screen.
