He described the moment as ‘goosebumps’ when Rajinikanth called his name and hugged him, and highlighted Rajinikanth’s simplicity.
‘Tourist Family’ features Sasikumar and Simran in lead roles and tells the heartwarming and humorous story of a Sri Lankan family trying to make a living after illegally landing in Chennai.
The film has been a commercial success, reportedly grossing over Rs 87.87 crore worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of 2025 and Sasikumar’s highest-grossing film to date.
