Actor and music composer Premgi Amaren and his wife Indu have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
The news was shared by director Karuppiah Murugan on social media, with celebrations erupting in the family of veteran music director Gangai Amaran, who is Premgi’s father.
Premgi, the younger brother of director Venkat Prabhu, married Indu, a bank officer, in a simple ceremony at the Tiruttani Murugan Temple in June 2024.
Both the mother and the newborn are reported to be doing well.
