Veteran actor Prabhu marked the commencement of his work on Karthi’s upcoming film, ‘Marshal’, with a visit to the historic Rameswaram Lord Shiva Temple.
Prabhu, accompanied by his wife Puneetha, sought darshan before joining the film’s second schedule shooting in Keezhakarai.
Speaking to reporters after his temple visit, Prabhu expressed his happiness, noting that the film’s director hails from Rameswaram.
‘Marshal’ is touted as an ambitious 1960s-era gangster film that promises a period experience for the audience.
The movie stars Karthi in the lead role alongside Kalyani Priyadarshan, with a robust supporting cast including Sathyaraj, Lal, John Kokken, and Easwari Rao. Produced on a massive budget and scheduled for release in five languages, anticipation is building around this high-stakes project.
