‘Jana Nayagan’ featuring Vijay in the lead role is one of the most anticipated movies of Kollywood this year.
Directed by H Vinoth, the movie, which is Vijay’s cinematic farewell, has Pooja Hegde as the female lead.
Now, the actress has officially announced that she has wrapped up shooting her portions for the movie. Pooja Hegde shared a selfie on her Instagram announcing the wrap, expressing her bittersweet feelings about working on what might be Vijay’s last film as an actor.
‘Jana Nayagan’ is slated for a theatrical release on January 9, 2026.
The film boasts a strong ensemble cast including Bobby Deol (as the antagonist), Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Shruti Haasan (rumored cameo), Narain, Mamitha Baiju, Monisha Blessy, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his fifth collaboration with Vijay..The film is produced by KVN Productions, marking their entry into Tamil cinema.
