The shooting for Sivakarthikeyan’s political drama ‘Parasakthi’, directed by Sudha Kongara, is rapidly nearing completion.
The final schedule of the film is currently underway in Chennai, wrapping up scenes and crucial special effects.
The revolutionary drama, which is reported to be set against a 1960s political backdrop and inspired by true events, has been filmed across locations like Karaikudi, Madurai, and Sri Lanka.
With the post-production work set to begin in earnest, the makers are sticking to a tentative Pongal release next year, which would see it clash at the box office with Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’.
