Over 15,000 Fans Celebrate Rockstar Anirudh at Vibe With Aravind on World Music Day

Addressing the audience, Anirudh reflected on his long-standing association with Express Avenue, recalling how the excitement around the global phenomenon “Why This Kolaveri Di” brought him to the venue nearly fifteen years ago. Returning to the same stage to celebrate Aravind, the first release from his independent label Albuquerque Records, made the moment particularly special and emotional for him.
Speaking about the album, Anirudh shared the story behind Aravind, revealing that the song was dedicated to his close friend Aravind, a promise he had made years ago. The project, he said, holds a special place in his heart and marks an important milestone in his creative journey.
Reflecting on his performances around the world, Anirudh said that while he has travelled extensively and performed across cities in India and internationally, Chennai continues to remain his favourite.
