”‘மையல்’ என் வாழ்வை மாற்றிய படம்”- நடிகர் சேது!
கதை சார்ந்த திரைப்படங்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து தங்கள் திறமையை வெளிப்படுத்தும் நடிகர்களை தமிழ் சினிமா எப்போதும் ரெட் கார்பெட் கொண்டுதான் வரவேற்கும். அவர்களை பெரிய நட்சத்திரமாகவும் அங்கீகரிக்கும். பல தலைமுறைகள் தாண்டியும் இது தொடர்ந்து வருகிறது. ‘மைனா’ உள்ளிட்ட பல படங்களில் தனது திறமையான நடிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்திய நடிகர் சேது தற்போது ‘மையல்’ படத்தில் கதாநாயகனாக நடித்திருக்கிறார். இந்தப் படம் மே 23 அன்று திரையரங்குகளில் உலகம் முழுவதும் வெளியாகிறது.
இதுகுறித்து நடிகர் சேது பகிர்ந்து கொண்டதாவது, “என்னுடைய சினிமா கரியர் மற்றும் தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்வை மாற்றிய படம் ‘மையல்’. என்னுடைய முழு திறமையை வெளிக்கொண்டு வந்திருக்கும் கதாபாத்திரத்திற்காக பல வருடங்களாக நான் காத்திருந்திருக்கிறேன். அது ‘மையல்’ படத்தில் நடந்திருக்கிறது. இந்த வாய்ப்பிற்காக அனுபமா விக்ரம் சிங் மற்றும் ஐகான் சினி கிரியேஷன்ஸ் எல்எல்பி, ஆர். வேணுகோபால் அவர்களுக்கும் நன்றி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். நல்ல கதையம்சம் கொண்ட படங்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் இதுபோன்ற தயாரிப்பாளர்களால்தான் தமிழ் சினிமாவுக்கு பெருமை. தமிழ் இலக்கியத்தில் முத்திரை பதித்திருக்கும் ஜெயமோகன் சாரின் கதையின் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருப்பது எனக்குக் கிடைத்த ஆசீர்வாதமாகவே பார்க்கிறேன். இயக்குநர் APG ஏழுமலை கதையை தாக்கம் ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையில் படமாக்கி இருக்கிறார். நிச்சயம் அனைவரும் விரும்பப்படும் படமாக இது இருக்கும் என நம்புகிறேன்”.
