Speculation surrounding Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-discussed ‘Thalaivar 173’ continues to grow, with reports suggesting that filmmaker-actor Mysskin could be part of the cast. Although no official confirmation has been issued, the rumours have gained momentum amid reports that director Ashwath Marimuthu may be attached to the project.
If the casting materialises, it would mark the first on-screen collaboration between Rajinikanth and Mysskin. It would also reunite Mysskin with Ashwath Marimuthu after their association on ‘Dragon’.
Mysskin is currently balancing acting and directing commitments. His upcoming projects include the Malayalam film ‘I’m Game’, while his directorial ventures ‘Pisaasu 2’ and ‘Train’ remain in various stages of completion and release planning.
Ashwath Marimuthu had previously revealed that he once narrated a script to Rajinikanth that received an enthusiastic response from the superstar. However, the project did not move forward at the time. Whether that story eventually evolves into ‘Thalaivar 173’ remains unclear.
