Director AR Murugadoss, who has been staying away from the limelight after making ‘Darbar’ in 2020, is now gearing up for the release of his production venture ” which is hitting the screens on April 7.
In a recent interview, Murugadoss opened up about his last outing ‘Darbar’ starring Superstar Rajinikanth.
He said, “Filmmaking craft requires proper planning and ample time to execute our ideas flawlessly. I had to balance a few aspects which ended up in the movie turning out as an average fare. We were supposed to begin the Mumbai-bound project in February and the plan was to wrap it up by June before the city was expected to receive heavy showers.”
However, the movie went on floors only after March which put huge pressure on the director, it is said. The Superstar was also supposed to float his party after August, and all these aspects were apparently taken into consideration while filming ‘Darbar’.
Murugadoss confessed that being a hardcore fan of Rajinikanth, he didn’t want to miss the opportunity to direct him. He also acknowledged that the schedule planning went for a toss because of unexpected reasons.
