A few days back, it was reported that there will be a sequel to Rajinikanth’s blockbuster ‘Jailer’. Nelson, who directed ‘Jailer’, will also be helming ‘Jailer 2.’
Till now, there hasn’t been an official announcement from the makers. While promoting her upcoming movie ‘Birth Mark’, actress Mirnaa Menon has officially confirmed that ‘Jailer 2’ is happening. She played Rajini’s daughter-in-law in Jailer.
Rajinikanth is right now busy with the shoot of ‘Vettaiyan’, which is being directed by T.J. Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame. After ‘Vettaiyan’, Rajini will move on to film with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
So, probably, ‘Jailer 2’ might commence after the completion of these two films. Sun Pictures will be bankrolling ‘Jailer 2’.
