Madhavan’s ‘GDN’ trailer highlights the extraordinary journey of G. D. Naidu
The trailer of ‘GDN’, starring Madhavan, has been unveiled ahead of the film’s release, offering a dramatic look at the life of inventor and industrial pioneer G. D. Naidu.
Directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar, the trailer premiered at a special event held at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore, Naidu’s hometown, with members of the cast, crew and the innovator’s family in attendance.
The preview follows Naidu’s rise from entrepreneur to a respected industrialist while showcasing the challenges he faced from colonial authorities. It portrays his success in transportation, education and engineering before highlighting legal and political obstacles that threatened his achievements.
The film also explores accusations brought against him despite his reputation as a disciplined businessman and taxpayer, portraying his determination to stand against injustice.
Alongside Madhavan, the cast includes Jayaram, Priyamani, Dushara Vijayan, Sathyaraj, Aditi Balan and Vinay Rai. Govind Vasantha has composed the music, while Aravind Kamalanathan has handled cinematography.
