Annapoorani, the culinary drama that features Nayanthara in the lead role, hit the theatres last week.
The project, which is helmed by Nilesh Krishnaa, marked Nayanthara’s 75th outing in the film industry.
Nayanthara played the role of a Tamil Brahmin girl who aspires to become the top corporate chef in the movie, which has been receiving relatively mixed reviews from the audiences.
As per the latest updates, the OTT rights of Nayanthara’s ‘Annapoorani’ are already sold.
The Nilesh Krishnaa directorial has been slated to be streamed exclusively on the renowned platform Zee5, after its theatrical run.
However, an official announcement on the same is yet to be made. Like most Tamil films that recently hit the theatres, the Nayanthara starrer is also slated to have a one-month-long theatrical window.
The project might even get an early OTT release on the 30th or 31st of December, 2023, coinciding with the final weekend of this year.
