Karunaas – Nimisha Sajayan starrer “Enna Vilai” wins Best Screenplay Award at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival ahead of release

Kalamaya Films Githesh V presents, A Sajeev Pazhoor Directorial, Karunaas–Nimisha Sajayan starrer “Enna Vilai” continues to build strong momentum ahead of its theatrical release. The film has now been honoured with the Best Screenplay Award at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival, marking a significant early recognition for its writing and narrative strength.

Directed by Sajeev Pazhoor, Enna Vilai is a socio-political family thriller that blends an emotionally engaging story with gripping moments and a rooted cinematic treatment. The makers emphasize that while the award is a proud milestone, the film is designed as a complete theatrical experience, crafted to connect with a wide spectrum of audiences.

It validates the strength of our story and the effort the team has put in. The film stars Karunaas and Nimisha Sajayan in lead roles, supported by a strong ensemble cast including Y Gee Mahendran, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Mohan Ram, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, Kavithayala Krishna, Deepa Shankar, Mottai Rajendran, Nakkalites Kavi, and many others.

Enna Vilai has been extensively shot across 56 locations including Rameswaram, Chennai, Pondicherry, and Kochi over multiple schedules, and is now progressing towards its next phase, with release details to be announced soon.

With this early honour adding to the buzz, Enna Vilai promises to deliver a compelling and immersive big-screen experience for audiences.

கலாமயா பிலிம்ஸ் கிதேஷ் வி வழங்கும், சஜீவ் பழூர் இயக்கத்தில், கருணாஸ், நிமிஷா சஜயன் நடிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள ’என்ன விலை’ திரைப்படம், அதன் வெளியீட்டிற்கு முன்பே ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் வலுவான எதிர்பார்ப்பை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.இப்படம் தற்போது தாதாசாகேப் பால்கே சர்வதேச திரைப்பட விழாவில் சிறந்த திரைக்கதைக்கான விருதைப் பெற்று, அதன் கதை சொல்லலுக்கும்  திரைக்கதைக்கும் வலு சேர்த்துள்ளது.

சஜீவ் பழூர் இயக்கியுள்ள ’என்ன விலை’ திரைப்படம் சமூக-அரசியல் பின்னணியுடன் கூடிய குடும்பத் திரில்லர் கதையாக உருவாகியுள்ளது. உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான தருணங்களுடனும் சுவாரஸ்யமான திருப்பங்களையும் கொண்ட இந்த படம் முழுமையான திரையரங்க அனுபவத்தை வழங்கும் வகையில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக படக்குழு தெரிவித்துள்ளது. மேலும், படம் வென்றுள்ள விருது முக்கிய மைல்கல் எனவும் படக்குழு மகிழ்ச்சி தெரிவித்தது.

தயாரிப்பாளர் கிதேஷ் வி கூறுகையில், “தாதாசாகேப் பால்கே சர்வதேச திரைப்பட விழாவில் சிறந்த திரைக்கதை விருது கிடைத்தது எங்களுக்கு மிகுந்த பெருமை அளிக்கிறது. இது திரைக்கதை வலுவையும் எங்கள் குழுவினரின் உழைப்புக்கும் கிடைத்த அங்கீகாரமாக கருதுகிறோம். விருது வென்றிருந்தாலும் ‘என்ன விலை’ திரையரங்கிற்காக உருவாக்கப்பட்ட படம். உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான தருணங்களுடன் அனைத்து தரப்பு பார்வையாளர்களையும் ஈர்க்கும் விதமாக அமைந்துள்ளது.ரசிகர்கள் திரையரங்கில் இந்தப் படத்தை பார்க்க வேண்டும் என்பதை ஆவலுடன் எதிர்பார்த்திருக்கிறோம்” என்றார்.

இயக்குநர் சஜீவ் பழூர் கூறுகையில், “ஆழமான யதார்த்தமான களத்தில் இருந்து உருவான கதைதான் ‘என்ன விலை’. இந்த திரைக்கதைக்கு கிடைத்த அங்கீகாரம் எனக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியாக உள்ளது. விருதிற்காக என இல்லாமல், இந்த படத்தை தீவிரமான மற்றும் ஆழமான அனுபவத்தை பார்வையாளர்களுக்கு தரும் விதமாகவும் உருவாக்கியுள்ளோம். இதனை பெரிய திரையில் படம் பார்க்கும்போது நிச்சயம் பார்வையாளர்களும் உணர்வார்கள்” என்றார்.

இந்தப் படத்தில் கருணாஸ் மற்றும் நிமிஷா சஜயன் முதன்மை கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். அவர்களுடன் ஒய்.ஜி. மகேந்திரன், பூர்ணிமா பாக்யராஜ், மோகன் ராம், லொள்ளு சபா சுவாமிநாதன், கவிதாலயா கிருஷ்ணா, தீபா சங்கர், மொட்டை ராஜேந்திரன், நக்கலைட்ஸ் கவி உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

’என்ன விலை’ திரைப்படம் ராமேஸ்வரம், சென்னை, புதுச்சேரி, கொச்சி உள்ளிட்ட 56 இடங்களில் பல கட்டங்களாக படமாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. தற்போது அடுத்த கட்ட பணிகள் நடைபெற்று வரும் நிலையில், வெளியீட்டு விவரங்கள் விரைவில் அறிவிக்கப்பட உள்ளன.

படம் வெளியாவதற்கு முன்பே இதற்கு கிடைத்துள்ள அங்கீகாரம் படத்தின் மீதான எதிர்பார்ப்பை மேலும் அதிகரித்துள்ளது.
