Actress Rukmini Vasanth has officially joined the cast of Rishab Shetty’s highly-anticipated prequel, ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’.
A new poster was released, revealing her in a traditional, regal look as the character Kanakavathi.
The prequel will explore the origins of the protagonist during the Kadamba dynasty era.
With filming now complete, ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ is slated to hit theaters on October 2, and the addition of Rukmini Vasanth has only added to the immense excitement surrounding the project.
Rukmini Vasanth was last seen in Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Ace’.
