It known that earlier on February, while director Shankar’s ‘Indian 2’ team were supposed to wrap up the shooting schedule in Chennai in a few days, a tragic accident occurred on the sets of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2. A crane with heavy-duty light comes crashing down on location killing three people and leaving ten injured. Now, the producers of the film, director Shankar and actor Kamal Haasan issued check to the families who were affected due to the accident.
The deceased were identified as Krishna and Madhu, who were assistant directors in director Shankar’s team, and another person named Chandran from the catering team. Actor Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggawal and costume designer Amritharam were apparently just ten seconds away from being crushed by the crane.
