Kamal Haasan hails 4-Year-Old Treesha Thosar for National Award win

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan personally congratulated 4-year-old Treesha Thosar for her win at the 71st National Film Awards. Treesha was honored with the Best Child Artist award for her outstanding performance in the Marathi film ‘Naal 2’.

Kamal Haasan took to social media and also made a personal video call to the young star, applauding her feat for an extraordinary reason: Treesha has officially broken his record!

Kamal Haasan, who won the President’s Gold Medal for his debut performance in ‘Kalathur Kannamma’, was previously the youngest recipient of the honor at age six.

In a playful yet profound message, the actor wrote: “Dear Ms. Treesha Thoshar, my loudest applause goes to you. You’ve beaten my record, as I was already six when I got my first award! Way to go madam. Keep working on your incredible talent.”
