Fashion designer Joy Crizildaa has officially clarified that she will not be participating in the upcoming tenth season of Bigg Boss Tamil.
Putting an end to the speculation surrounding her reported entry, Crizildaa explained that she chose to turn down the opportunity because her son Raaga is still very young.
In a social media statement, she said that being away from her child at this stage did not feel right and that her responsibilities as a mother took priority over taking part in the reality show.
Her decision comes after a period of considerable attention surrounding her personal life and her relationship with actor-chef Madhampatty Rangaraj.
Earlier this year, a DNA test confirmed Rangaraj as Raaga’s biological father following a prolonged legal dispute. Rangaraj subsequently acknowledged the child publicly and shared photographs with him, saying he would remain by his son’s side.
Crizildaa later posted pictures from Raaga’s head-tonsure ceremony at a temple.
The matter had earlier reached the police after Crizildaa approached the Chennai Police Commissioner with allegations concerning her relationship with Rangaraj. Police initiated an inquiry, while related legal proceedings remain before the court.
Bigg Boss Tamil is set to return with its tenth season, marking an important milestone for the popular reality franchise. Kamal Haasan hosted the show for its first seven seasons. Vijay Sethupathi subsequently took over as host for seasons eight and nine.
The new edition is expected to bring together a fresh group of contestants and introduce new challenges, rivalries, emotional moments and twists inside the Bigg Boss house.
