‘Jana Nayagan’ team’s birthday treat for Vijay fans

The makers of Vijay’s upcoming film, ‘Jana Nayagan’, are set to unveil The First Roar at midnight on June 22.

This First Roar is expected to be a special glimpse or teaser from the film, and its release is timed to coincide with Vijay’s birthday, making it an even more significant event for his fans.

‘Jana நாயகன் is highly anticipated, not only because it stars Vijay, but also because it is being touted as his final film before he fully enters politics.

Directed by H. Vinoth, the movie is touted as a political action thriller.

The film stars Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol in lead roles, with a strong supporting cast including Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, and others. There’s even speculation about a cameo by Shruti Haasan.

The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on January 9, 2026, coinciding with the Pongal festival.
