The countdown has begun for the worldwide release of James Cameron’s epic sci-fi spectacle, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ (Avatar 3), and Indian fans can now secure their premium seats.
Advance IMAX bookings for the film, which is slated for a December 19 release, have officially opened across major Indian cities.
The demand for the large-format experience is evident, with ticket prices in premium IMAX theatres in Delhi reportedly soaring up to Ra 2,400 for night shows.
The third installment is set to expand the world of Pandora by introducing the fiery “Ash People.”
The film will be released in six languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, though IMAX shows will primarily be available in English and Hindi.
Exhibitors, like PVR INOX, are rolling out special ‘Avatar’-themed promotions to manage the massive early demand.
