Hiphop Tamizha Adhi has started filming the sequel to his 2017 hit film.
The original movie, a coming-of-age musical comedy, was a directorial debut for Adhi and also starred Aathmika and Vivek.
The story followed a young man’s journey to become an independent musician in Chennai. The sequel is currently in the filming stage.
The original film was Adhi’s directorial and acting debut, and it was partially biographical, detailing his life.
Adhi has indicated the film will feature different “struggles” compared to the first film.
