‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, the spy action movie helmed by renowned filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon, is finally set to hit the big screens soon.
The project, which stars Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role, is gearing up for a release after multiple delays.
Recently, director Gautham opened up about his long journey with ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ and revealed why Suriya, who was the first choice for the lead role, turned down the project.
In a recent conversation, Gautham spoke extensively about the making of ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ and revealed that the project was written for Suriya.
According to the filmmaker, he was keen on roping in Suriya to play the protagonist, but the actor couldn’t connect with the idea.
So, Suriya bowed out of Dhruva Natchathiram and asked Gautham to work on another subject for him.
