Actor Gautham Karthik has successfully concluded the dubbing work for his upcoming film, ‘Root – Running Out of Time,’ confirming the movie is now in its final stages of post-production.

The film is a sci-fi crime thriller directed by debutant Sooriyaprathap S, who previously worked as an associate director on Rajinikanth’s ‘Kochadaiiyaan’.

Karthik plays the lead role of a police officer, bringing a “powerful presence and depth” to the character.

The movie marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Aparshakti Khurana and features Bhavya Trikha as the female lead, alongside veteran actor Y Gee Mahendran.

The makers, Verus Productions, have indicated that Root aims to deliver an “edge-of-the-seat thriller” by blending a gripping crime storyline with a sci-fi backdrop.
