Actor Karthi collaborated with director PS Mithran for ‘Sardar’, which became a huge box-office hit. It is well-known that a sequel to this successful film is in the works.
According to the latest buzz, shooting for ‘Sardar 2’ is set to begin in July on a massive set in Chennai.
The film will be made on a large scale, with additional shoots planned in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
A prominent actor is expected to play the antagonist role, and there are talks that Ashika Ranganath is being considered for an important role in the film.
Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing the music for ‘Sardar 2’.
Apart from this, Karthi is also occupied with ‘Vaa Vaathiyaare’, directed by Nalan Kumarasamy and featuring Krithi Shetty as the lead.
The first look of the film was recently revealed. Santhosh Narayanan is in charge of the music for this film.
The film is being produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green.
