With ‘Nooru Sami’ set to arrive in cinemas on June 19, the film has already generated positive buzz after receiving praise from filmmaker H. Vinoth. Directed by Sasi and starring Vijay Antony and Swasika, the film is among the most anticipated Tamil releases of the month.
The appreciation came through a note shared by Vijay Antony Film Corporation, the banner producing the film. After watching ‘Nooru Sami’, Vinoth reportedly described it as one of the standout films of the year and urged audiences to experience it in theatres.
The production house responded by thanking the director for his encouraging remarks, stating that his endorsement was a source of motivation for everyone involved in the project.
At the heart of ‘Nooru Sami’ is the story of a woman who becomes isolated from her community after being judged for actions considered unacceptable by those around her. The narrative explores themes of social exclusion, stigma and personal resilience.
The film features a strong ensemble cast that includes Ajay Dhishan, Lijomol Jose, Karunas, Sakthi and Kavya Anil. Supporting roles are played by actors such as Balaji Sakthivel, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Vinodhini, Subramania Siva and several others.
The film’s technical crew comprises cinematographer S.B. Darshan Kirlosh, composer Balaji Sriram, editor Harish Yuvaraj and art director V. Sasi Kumar.
Meanwhile, H. Vinoth is also focused on his upcoming film ‘Jana Nayagan’, starring Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. The project has been the subject of discussions regarding its release timeline. Speaking recently, Vinoth indicated that the delay was not within his control and hinted that there were aspects of the issue he was unable to discuss publicly.
