The highly anticipated 67th National Film Awards have been finally announced. Dhanush has been adjudged as the Best Actor for his performance in Vetrimaaran’s ‘Asuran’.
This is his second National Award after ‘Aadukalam’ (2011). ‘Asuran’ was also given the Best Tamil film award.
Vijay Sethupathi has won the award for the Best Supporting Actor in ‘Super Deluxe’. D Imman has bagged the Best Music Director award for Ajith’s ‘Viswasam’.
Director-actor R Parthiban’s ‘Oththa Seruppu Size 7’ has received the Special Jury Award. The movie also received the Best Audiography Award. Resuk Pookutty is the Sound Engineer of the film.
Naga Vishal has been awarded the Best Child Artiste for his performance in the movie ‘KD Engira Karuppu Durai’.
