Dhanush’s highly-anticipated period action drama, ‘Captain Miller’, was supposed to hit theaters on December 15 initially.
However, the film has now been postponed to the Pongal festive season.
Meanwhile, all eyes are on Dhanush’s second directorial, tentatively titled ‘D50’.
The film marks Dhanush’s 50th project, and there has been a lot of hype and anticipation among fans on this project.
Dhanush took to X and shared a special update on the film’s completion. “#D50 #DD2Wrapped My sincere thanks to the entire crew and cast. Also a big thanks to Kalanithi Maran sir and Sun Pictures for supporting my vision. (sic),” Dhanush tweeted.
D50’s cast features an impressive range of actors, including Vishnu Vishal, Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaraman, Sundeep Kishan, Selvaraghavan and SJ Suryah. Dhanush will be seen in a power-packed cameo in the movie.
The film is said to be an action drama set in the North Madras milieu. AR Rahman is composing the music for this Sun Pictures production.
