In a major relief for director Gautham Vasudev Menon and fans of Chiyaan Vikram, the Madras High Court has cleared the decks for the release of ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’.
The court has permitted the film to be released on or before June 15, 2026, after laying out a financial modality to settle long-standing dues with investors.
A dedicated bank account will be overseen by an appointed advocate to handle all monetary transactions from the film’s revenue to ensure creditors are paid.
This ruling ends years of legal deadlock, with the director reportedly planning a potential theatrical debut as early as May 22 if all technical and financial arrangements are finalized swiftly.
