Pradeep Ranganathan, who made his directorial debut with Jayam Ravi-starrer ‘Comali’ in 2019, is making his acting debut with a project to be bankrolled by AGS Entertainment.
Yuvan Shankar Raja, who was brought on board earlier, had shared that the film is special for him.
Archana Kalpathi, creative director of the production house, thanked Vijay and veteran producer RB Choudary yesterday for granting permission for using the title of the yesteryear film for Pradeep’s movie.
After much speculation doing the rounds, the team officially announced today morning that the project has been titled ‘Love Today’.
‘Love Today’ was the title of Balasekaran’s Vijay-starrer romantic drama which was released in 1997.
Fans of Vijay lapped up the announcement on social media and started circulating pictures and video clips of the two-and-a-half decade film.
The team also released first look posters of the film.
