The Tamil Nadu government, led by newly sworn-in Chief Minister Joseph Vijay, has granted special permission for Suriya’s film ‘Karuppu’.
The official government order allows theatres to screen the film for five shows per day on May 14 and May 15, with showtimes ranging from 9 AM until 2 AM the following day.
The decision has provided a massive boost to the production team at Dream Warrior Pictures, who had requested the extension to accommodate the immense fan hype surrounding the Suriya-Trisha reunion.
Theatre managers have been instructed to prioritize safety precautions, crowd management, and traffic regulations during these extended screening hours.
