Ban on Anirudh’s concert? Madras High Court’s order

The Madras High Court has given a conditional nod for music director Anirudh Ravichander’s “Hukum World Tour Concert” to proceed as scheduled.
The court dismissed a plea that sought to halt the concert, which is set to take place on East Coast Road (ECR).
The plea was filed by VCK MLA M. Babu, who cited concerns over potential traffic congestion and public inconvenience, similar to a previous concert by another music composer.
While allowing the event, the court issued a strict warning to the organizers and the police, stating that they will be held accountable if the concert leads to any traffic disruptions or violation of the conditions imposed.
Justice N. Anand Venkatesh, who passed the order, noted the importance of having designated venues for such large-scale events and has kept the petition open to monitor the situation.
