Director Vetrimaaran’s much-awaited gangster drama ‘Arasan’, starring Silambarasan TR, continues to make steady progress during production.
Industry reports indicate that around 40 percent of filming has been completed. The director has reportedly assembled nearly an hour of edited footage, which has been viewed by Silambarasan TR and producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu, with both said to be satisfied with the material.
Production is expected to resume shortly after work on ‘Raajan Vagaiyara’ wraps up. The next schedule will reportedly feature large-scale action scenes, with elaborate sets currently under construction.
Silambarasan TR is said to be in Dubai preparing physically for the role by undergoing a fitness transformation ahead of the upcoming shoot.
Believed to be connected to the ‘Vada Chennai’ universe, ‘Arasan’ has remained one of the most anticipated Tamil projects since the collaboration between Vetrimaaran and Silambarasan was announced.
