– Review
Jayam Ravi is a crane operator at the Chennai port and is the chief of all the illegal activities that take place.
He wants to become like Kapoor, kingpin of the Indian Ocean. Ravi is assigned with the task of escorting a person from the shore to the sea.
He sees this as an opportunity to establish his personal motive as well.
Who is his Ravi? Why does he indulge in illegal activities? Was he able to achieve his dreams forms the rest of the story.
Director Kalyan Krishna has done his research for the story and it is clearly visible on screen.
The movie explores the unseen aspects of the activities that take place in a port.
The premise and the story are set in a believable manner making it easier for the audience to connect with.
It is a one man show from Jayam Ravi. He carries the entire movie on his shoulder.
Be it the body language or the dialogue delivery, he has lived the character.
Priya Bhavani Shankar as the cop who helps Jayam Ravi has done a neat job in her role.
Rest of the cast including Harish Paredi and Tanya Hope have all done their part well.
Sam CS’ background score compliments the visuals and story well. Rest of the technical aspects of the film are also appreciable.
