A young boy in a school was asked about how many colors are there in our National Flag. When the whole class said as 4 colors, this boy mentioned it as 5 colors.

When the teacher quizzed him on how is saying that, he explained the colors.

Saffron, White, Green, Blue on the chakra and also red patches.

He recalled that, his father was an army officer and as a young child, could see his dead body brought home after his martyrdom, fighting enemies in the border for our sacred Nation. The National flag which was spread over him had all the four colours and also his Father’s Blood which was Red.

The whole class including the Teacher went in for an absolute silence hearing the real life story.

Let us not forget that our National Flag carries many such martyrs blood hidden in it. Vande Mataram!

75 years from the year of Independence, our Country have witnessed many Political Parties, Political Flags but, the only flag that would make us all proud is our National Flag.

Political flags are all temporary, short sighted, selfish and self centred. Flags which change hands for convenience and their own benefits.

It is High Time that, we raise above all the differences and make our National Flag fly high.

Every household is so delighted to celebrate the 75th year of our Independence. Some hoist the flag on top of the houses, Balconies, some compose songs, some sing songs, perform dances, write articles and many other events to commemorate our Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The late Mr. M.G. Ramachandran through his songs always brought in meaningful advices for the public. This is how, he became the Chief Minister of the State later and had respect all over INDIA.

In one of the songs, it says that, there could be innumerable flags in a Country but, the flag that flutters and flies high should be the flag which denotes that, there is no poverty in our Country.

That is the real strength of a Nation. In the same song, the earlier verses say that, we have all the wealth in our own Country (Bharat Mata is bestowed with all the wealth) and why do we have to take or beg for anything from other Countries.

More than 60 years ago, the songs spoke about being self sufficient and balance of trade and less dependence on imports.

On this 75th year of Independence let us all take an oath that, the only flag that should fly high is our National Flag.

For this, we need to respect our own produce and products. Shed off the craze towards western foods and drinks and beverages which are unhealthy as compared to our Desi Foods.

Let us try to limit our wants for Foreign goods and very soon, we will see our Country becoming stronger in all the ways.

From Forex value, balance of trade and other International dealings and forums, we all will be respected as a Nation to be together inspite of all the diversity.

Jai Hind!

Bharat Mata ki Jai!
