Affection and action

Veerame Vaagai Soodam

– Review

Vishal wishes to join the Police department. His father, who is also a cop, blindly follows the orders of his superiors and is afraid to go against rich people.

Unfortunately, one day, someone kills Vishal’ sister, Raveena Ravi. Vishal begins a search to find out the culprit. Who killed Raveena? How did Vishal find the culprit?

What is the link between a middle-class girl and a dreaded gang? Did Vishal become a cop in the end forms the crux of the story.

Director Thu Pa Saravanan has succeeded in delivering a good concept. The screenplay is decent as it starts on a slow note in the first half and is good in the second. Vishal’s performance is good and especially during the emotional scenes, he acted very well.

Usually, the audience expects high-octane and realistic action sequences in Vishal’s films. This film also has intense fighting scenes.  Dimple Hayathi’s role is okay. Raveena Ravi performed fine as a beloved sister to Vishal.

The remaining actors delivered their best. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the screenplay are the assets of the movie. Visuals by Kavin Raj are good. Editing by N B Srikanth is crispy.
