Thuritham – Review by Naveen
A racy love story
Thuritham
– Review
Jagan drives a rental car in Chennai and he falls in one-side love with Eden who travels in his cab everyday to office.
Eden gets ready to resign her job and leave for her native due to the compulsion of her father.
Jagan tries to confess his love, before Eden leaves for her hometown, but fails to do it. Eden misses her train and decides to travel in Jagan’s bike to Madurai.
However, the bike gets repaired midway and they duo ask for lift. Rams, who is travelling in the path, kidnaps Eden.
What happens next, was Jagan able to find Eden forms the rest of the story. Director Srinivasan has delivered an emotional love story.
Though the initial scenes are on the slower side, the movie picks pace in the second half. Jagan as the car driver delivers an impactful performance.
He scores in the way in which he longs for the love of Eden, breaks when his love fails and the tension after Eden gets kidnapped.
Eden has delivered an emotional performance and creates the much needed impact for the character.
Bala Saravanan does well in the comedy department. Venkatesh as the strict father has done his role well.
Rest of the cast including Vaishali, Shri Nikila, Aishwarya and Poo Ramu have all delivered what was expected from them.
Music by Naresh gels well with the theme of the movie. Camerawok by Vasan and Anbu are impressive.
Rating: 3.5/5
