Santhanam’s “Vadakkupatti Ramasamy” – Review by Naveen

Feel-good comedy entertainer

“Vadakkupatti Ramasamy”

– Review

Santhanam is a young potter from a village which believes in superstitions.

He tries to take advantage of the villager’s desire and builds a temple and use their faith to earn some quick money.

But the arrival of a dishonest Tashildar troubles Santhanam and his temple. What did the Tashildar do and how did it affect Santhanam forms the rest of the story.

Directed by Karthik Yogi, the movie has its own sense of humour which is interesting.

There is humour all over the place and some of them have worked out really well.

The way in which the story is presented is the biggest advantage of the movie.

Santhanam’s portrayal of the lead role is filled with smart one-liners and sharp counters.

Mega Akash gets a significant role and has done her part well complimenting the story well.

Rest of the cast including Nizhalgal Ravi, Lollu Saba Maaran , Seshu, Cool Suresh, Ravi Maria, and John Vijay have all contributed their best to the story.

Deepak’s camerawork and Sean Roldan’s music compliments the theme of the movie well. Rest of the technical aspects are good.

Rating: 4/5
