Nivin Pauly is a former athlete who is now broken – mentally and physically. He is not liked by many, including his aunt, because of his character.
Things take a turn after a political party decides to renovate his house as part of their service scheme.
However, there is a hidden motive to this which changes the life of Nivin. What is that and what happens next forms the rest of the story.
Director Liju Krishna has packed the movie with layers to convey the problems that the people are facing.
The director has conveyed the problems of the people in a convincing way that the audience can easily relate to it.
The first half focuses on Nivin Pauly’s character and the second half deals with his transformation.
Nivin Pauly has delivered a matrued performance which is needed for the character. Rest of the cast have also delivered a commendable performance.
Shammi gives one of his best performances till date, while Remya Suresh also stands out.
Shine Tom Chacko, Aditi Balan, Kainakary Thankaraj and Sudheesh also get enough screen space to showcase their skills.
Govind Vasantha’s music is the soul of the film. Deepak D Menon’s cinematography is brilliant and captures the village in an effective manner.
