“Kozhipannai Chelladurai” – Movie Review by Naveen

Emotional journey

“Kozhipannai” Chelladurai

– Review

Set in the backdrop of Theni, Aegan works at his uncle Yogi Babu’s meat shop, trying to provide for his sister Sathya Devi.
The film takes a dramatic turn when Aegan learns of Sathya’s love with a classmate from a different background.
Aegan’s troubled past makes it difficult for him to accept his sister’s love. This sparks his journey of self-discovery as he confronts his trauma and reassesses his beliefs.
What happens next forms the core plot of the movie.
Directed by Seenu Ramasamy, the movie is all about human emotions.
The director has established the bonding between a brother and sister in an effective manner.
The way each character is etched is remarkable and makes it easier for the audience to connect with them.
Aegan delivers a strong performance, carrying much of the film’s emotional weight.
He shines in the scenes where he comes to know about his sister’s love and is not able to handle it.
Sathya Devi effectively embodies the role of Sudha. She has done complete justice to her role and is impressive.
Yogi Babu brings his usual charm, though the humor sometimes falls flat.
Brigida Saga shines as Thamaraiselvi, she has delivered what was expected from her.
N. Raghunandhan’s background score enhances the film’s atmosphere, Ashokraj’s camerawork has captured the proceedings and Theni beautifully.

Rating: 4/5
