A long night

Parthiepan is a financier who is on the hunt for a fake godman to take revenge. He reaches the godman’s ashram and waits for his arrival.
During this time, he also learns that the godman is also searching to kill Parthiepan. Why Parthiepan wants to kill the godman and vice versa.
Who is Parthiepan and what is his story forms the crux of the movie. Before the film begins, a making video is screened to showcase the struggles of the team for making this movie.
Several technicians including AR Rahman talk about their contribution towards the film, which is the world’s first single shot non-linear movie.
Parthiepan also shows what it took to pull off a film in this way. Parthiepan as a director has taken the audience through the six stages in a man’s life.
Things move so swiftly that it becomes difficult to register some key moments.
Parthiepan, the actor, shines in his role, as usual. Each and every other actor has put in a lot of effort to play their role.
Brigida has done a neat job as Chilakamma. Varalakshmi, Priyanka Ruth and Robo Shankar have done their part well.
A R Rahman gives us a score that is highly immersive, and these songs elevate the film to the next level.
Cinematography is the soul of the movie and keeps the audience glued to the screen. Kudos to Parthiepan for such a different attempt.

Rating: 3.6/5
