‘Bujji at Anupatti’ – Movie Review by Naveen

In search of ‘The GOAT’

‘Bujji at Anupatti’

-Review

An alcoholic father sells the favourite goat (Bujji) of his son and daughter. With no information about who has bought the goat, the siblings start searching for it.

They start wandering to different places in search of their goat. What are the difficulties that the children face during their journey.

Were they able to find the goat? What happened to it? These form the rest of the story.

Director Raam Kandasamy has paced the movie in an interesting manner. The plot of the movie is not extraordinary, the way in which it is narrated is impressive.

Though the entire movie is based on the children’s hunt for the goat, the director has also touched upon human emotions.

Pranithi Sivasanakaran has delivered a neat performance as the young girl who is very attached to her goat. She has expressed the various emotions of the character in an impressive manner.

Karthik Vijay as the affectionate brother has done his part well. The intensity which he shows while in pursuit of the goat is top notch.

Rest of the cast including Kamal Kumar, Lavanya Kanmani, Meena Gopalakrishnan and Vaitheeswari have all delivered what was expected from them.

KU Karthik has delivered the music which is needed for the film. Arun Mozhi Chozan’s camerawork has captured the proceedings in an engaging manner.

Rating: 4/5
